Understanding LTE Bands for Türkiye and Europe
Why a module that works in Asia might not connect in Istanbul — and how to read a datasheet's band table.
A cellular module is only as useful as its band support in your target market.
Turkish LTE bands
Turkish operators primarily use B1 (2100), B3 (1800), B7 (2600), B8 (900) and B20 (800). A module missing B20, for example, may struggle with rural coverage.
Reading the datasheet
Look for the "Supported Bands" table. Variant suffixes matter: an -EU / -EUX part is tuned for European bands, while -AU/-LA/-NA target other regions.
